Exemption from the Study of Irish

Families wishing to apply for an exemption from the study Irish must complete the following two forms and along with supporting evidence/documentation submit to both the Key Worker and the Year Leader.

Please note, as per Circular 0055/2022, students currently or previously enrolled in a special class are automatically exempt from the study of Irish without an application. A Certificate of Exemption is available on request from the School. Where a student has a recommendation and has been deemed eligible for a place in the special class, an application is required.

Families wishing to apply for release from the study of a modern foreign language should contact the key worker or year leader to discuss.
