Last week, our 5th Year European Section students enjoyed the visit of Patrick Lee, EU Advocacy Coordinator for the Norwegian Refugee Council. He shared his experience in the humanitarian sector and the importance languages played in his journey. He has worked in Calais, Lesvos, the Central Mediterranean, Kenya, Somalia and is now travelling to a new project in Afghanistan. His visit offered our students a meaningful glimpse into the realities of humanitarian work and the role languages play in building bridges across cultures.
