This year, the Global Citizens Committee focused on tackling the school’s waste problem, particularly food waste, in line with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The committee carried out surveys and presented to students, staff, and cleaning teams to raise awareness and promote solutions.

As part of this initiative, the school will introduce new waste bin units with separate black, brown, and green bins to replace the current mixed-waste system. The new system aims to improve waste management across the entire school through better recycling practices and increased awareness.
