Congratulations to the senior boys’ basketball team, who secured a historic All-Ireland title with a 57–55 win over Clarin College. The match, which took place in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght, was a cagey affair, with Newpark managing to keep their noses ahead in each of the four quarters. Clarin College took the lead with only seconds to go, but Player of the Match Gareth Hopwood restored Newpark’s advantage as they came away with the title.
