Student Mental Health

We’re mindful of our students’ mental health during our current closure and aware, of course, that our usual support services – our guidance counselling, nursing and chaplaincy services – are not available as normal.

Students should remember, as ever, when feeling down, our family and friends are our first port of call. Despite parents and guardians no doubt having a lot on their minds right now, students should know that their folks always prefer to hear about their concerns and vulnerabilities, than to not hear about them.

Along with this, students and their parents/guardians should be aware that there are many community and local services that are available for support by phone and email (see below).

All GP services continue to be available by phone also.
